Alhamdulillah! Concert??Over. Yeah! Received a good feedback as what we always hope. The only thing, our dvd recorder has jammed. Whatever that we have recorded all gone with the wind. Anyway, its not end of the world. We are trying to get from parents who has recorded the event. Doesn't matter if it is bit and pieces. We will combine all together to make it one.
Children??? Fantastic. They have done a good job and performed very well. We always believe that our children can do it as they always say "I can do it". Diniekids' children. We love you.

Concert round the corner. The earlier the better. After that, children will be busy with their work. No more practise for concert. Study!Study!Study!

On the 24th October, our concert/graduation ceremony will be held at Dewan Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. At the moment we are busy. Last few weeks, we have been practiced for the concert starting from 10.30 to 11.30 am. But it looks like next week, that is a week before the concert we need to take more time to practice. Anyway, as usual we never expect perfect from the children, but we knew they had done well in whatever task been given to them. It doesn't matter, as long as they enjoy it. We never force them, but they are willing to do it. Look at this video. Eventhough, the dance is not for their class, they still want to do it.

Moment that they are waiting for......small colourful envelope.... Children - the best about raya - duit raya......

On 24th. September, 2010, we celebrated Hari Raya and also birthday for September children. Wow! not to mention about food.

Thanks to Puan Rose for the burger and cake. Ustazah Azimah for the kuah kacang. Cikgu Noor for the sambal tumis ikan bilis, Cikgu Lia for the nasi himpit, Ustazah for the laksa/laksam Kelantan and Cikgu Norma for the kuah lodeh.

We also would like to thank parents for the biskut raya. Nice.

Wow! We have been silent for few weeks. Anyway, today, we are back to work. We think it's not too late to wish all Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Many stories been shared with us by the children. They are different from adults, always looking forward and always in a happy mood, not lazy or raya mood. We like it. We love you children.

Today, the children were given a picture of ketupat to be coloured.

Teachers are not exceptional to colour the ketupat too. It's fun though to do it together with the children.

This is the result. Nice eh?

Alhamdulillah, as planned, we did the parade this morning. Weather was good. The only thing, out of 27 children only 20 came. We assume they were at their hometown because of the holiday (tomorrow). We started the parade from our centre and walked round the neighbourhood back to our centre again. Less than 1 km. Could be the happiest moment for the children today.

Thanks to all parents for helping the children to memorize the two songs. 31 Ogos and Jalur Gemilang. They sang well. Thumbs Up!

When children do their work........

Look at the photos. These were taken during the fun game event - parents game. Simple things can be difficult at time when it was taken by surprise. Anyway, we have fun with this kind of activities. Dinie Kids parents are sporting. yeah! Keep it up!

PUASA - what they say?

For us adult, we know the reason why we have to do it. But what about children? They want to get duit raya, dapat baju baru, nak raya etc. Cute eh?

The best part, in school some of them only drink water (plain water). Few children, they don't want to eat, but at home they will qada' their "snack time". Anyway they are only children. It's good to encourage them but not to force them. We can train them slowly from day to day.

Like one of the Ustaz said, if possible before Ramadhan, try to do a lot of puasa sunat, so that when Ramadhan comes, our speed on the first day is like driving in highway. We can apply that to the children below 7 years old. First day maybe half day, second day a bit longer and at last full day.

Anyway, for children below 7 years old who can fast on the first day, that is superb. But for children who can't, parents not to worry. Time to train. Allah knows better. Cheerio!

Alysha, the only girl who can blow the balloon during the fun game event. Besides Alysha, Akmal and Nazren can do it. It was an interesting event.

water play

These photos were taken on 15th July 2010 during the "water play" activity, not swimming activity. We only used three small swimming pools. The biggest was for the boys and the other two were for the girls. As you can see it, the children enjoyed very much playing in the pool. Next year, we will try to get a bigger pool.

After playing, their aunty Rozi served them nasi lemak. Ustazah Azimah, next door neighbour gave them keropok. Wah!! delicious. yummy!yummy!. Rezeki. Alhamdulillah.

We created this activity for 4 years old children. Unfortunately only 2 children turned up. Ain was sick. To complete the task we involved 5 years old children. Anyway, it was fun with their spontaneous actions.

Look at this picture. What can you describe about it? Yeah, it's only a plant. Lady finger or in US they call it ocra. What about it?

Let me tell you the story behind this picture. It was taken if I'm not mistaken two days before it being pulled by irresponsible person or human. We, teachers in Dinie Kids are really disappointed with the incident.

When we informed the children that they are going to do gardening, they were very happy and excited. To make them feel that gardening is important and fun, we asked them to come to school with their normal home attire. At first, they felt uncomfortable when we asked them to use their hands to touch the soil. Children, they will follow what adults do, that is a right phrase. When they see, we teachers soften the soil with our hands, they follow and later on enjoying it.

The most excited moment was when Cikgu Noor gave them the seeds to be planted. And from that day onwards, they water the plant whenever they were give a chance to do so but.... couldn't believe it, few plants have gone. So, we replant again, and again we have to wait and wait till we can harvest it. Ooooh....sigh....

Yesterday, Monday, Dinie Kids got a new member New teacher - Cikgu Lia, joined us as a teacher for 4 years old kids. The 4 years old kids welcomed her well. They did the colouring and few other stuffs together. We are happy. Looking forward for tomorrow, a day after tomorrow, next week, next month, next year......May Allah bless us.
